SpongeBob is a character who is famous for being extremely kind and loving to others. Sure, he can be very annoying in the process, but it is never in a malicious manner. Instead, his optimism and childlike energy can be overwhelming for others to handle at times. However, with all of this being said, it is always especially strange to see him be mean to others in the series. Although it is quite a rarity, these moments are often the ones that stick in the minds of audience members.
