Spider-fans around the world rejoice, for a brand new Spider-Woman comic series is officially coming from Marvel, with Jessica Drew taking the spotlight of her very own solo series, beginning in March of 2020.
The news comes straight from Marvel, along with confirmation that Spider-Woman will be written by Karla Pacheco (Punisher Annual, Fantastic Four 2099), along with artist Pere Perez (Uncanny X-Men). The news comes not long after Jessica returned to the forward ranks of Marvel's comic book universe, as a member of Marvel's new Strikeforce team alongside some of the world's most lethal fighters. But early next year, Jessica will find herself taking on enemies all her own. What’s wrong with Jessica? Just how DID she get this job? And who are these lunatics who keep trying to blow her up?
Fans will have to wait and see until the first issue goes on sale in March of 2020 to have those questions answered. But they won't need to wait any longer to appreciate the cover art for Spider-Woman #1, from artist Junggeun Yoon, embedded below. Here's hoping those web wings really work:

I love Spider-Woman, and I'm incredibly excited to share this series with both new and old Jessica Drew fans alike. This is big, can't miss, over-the-top action, some very surprising ‘venom blasts from the pasts,’ and also a TON of helicopter explosions. It's a super fun adventure with a lot of twists and turns...and seriously, so many helicopter explosions.
