Before the Spider-Verse blew up in popularity, there was an Electro-Verse that was twice as fun. The Electro-Verse was revealed in the first arc of the 2016 series Web Warriors. The book was written by Mike Costa and penciled by David Badleon.

In the wake of the blockbuster crossover series Spider-Verse, a group of Spider-People decided to form a team to protect the multiverse, what they call the Web of Life and Destiny, from threats. This team includes, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen, Spider-UK, and the Spider-Girls Mayday Parker and Anya Corazon. Their base of operations is Earth-001, where Karn, a member of Morlun’s family of Inheritors, acts as Master Weaver of the Web and can teleport the Web Warriors between dimensions.

The first major threat these Web Warriors face is an army of Electros from across the multiverse. One Electro had seen Morlun devour the Spider-Man on his Earth. Using his sensitivity to electromagnetism, this Electro was able to feel how Morlun’s teleporter worked. He then approached his Doctor Octopus and asked him to build the device. With the device in hand, Electro traveled the multiverse in search of a world he could rule. Instead, he found one where a version of him already did. This Electro was Mike Dillon (instead of Max Dillon). He was a genius billionaire inventor and the driving force behind assembling the Electroverse.

Mike Dillon’s plan was to gain even more power by absorbing other Electros and become a being of extreme energy called the Battery. Interestingly, he did this with Kree technology, which was used to form the Kree hive-mind leader known as the Supreme Intelligence. It is this energy-based nature to Electro's powers that make his "Verse" a more formidable force than the Spider-Verse. The Battery was so powerful, the Web Warriors couldn't even beat him in a straight battle; they could only contain him in a faraday cage. Ultimately, one of the Web Warriors own, an Uncle Ben version of Spider-Man, was forced to sacrifice himself to join with the Battery hive-mind. With Ben’s conscience, the Battery stood down. Otherwise, there was probably no way for the Spiders to beat this Electro monster.

Together, the Electros were even more power than a group of Doctor Octopus variants. Mike Dillon was able to subdue a team of them to essentially work as his indentured servants. One key member is Octavia Otto, who was actually a hero on her Earth where Parker Peters was an evil Spider-Woman. Octavia ended up helping the Web Warriors and later joined the team. In fact, it is unlikely the Web Warriors could've survived without her. Overall, the Spider-Verse doesn't compare to the Electro-Verse.
