Tom Holland reacts to a 9-year-old’s heartfelt letter to Spider-Man in a captivating video ahead of the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Directed by Jon Watts, the highly anticipated film has already set astounding records with the most presale tickets since Avengers: Endgame in 2019, causing various websites to crash on opening day to purchase tickets. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the third installment of Holland’s Spider-Man solo series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch returning as Doctor Strange. A popular Korean YouTube channel, known as ODG, surprises a Spider-Man fan with an opportunity to meet Holland and Zendaya through a video conference call. The 9-year-old boy, Harang Seong, shares his love and appreciation for Spider-Man and is tasked with writing a letter to Spider-Man in English with the assistance of a translator. After much preparation and practice reading his letter, Seong reads his heartfelt letter to Holland and Zendaya, with the letter addressed to Mr. Peter Parker. With the global sensation of the web-slinger, it comes as no surprise to see the number of fans Holland has amassed internationally over the years playing the titular role, especially the younger generation who has grown with Holland’s portrayal. Previously, Holland hinted at potentially leaving the iconic role and recently revealed experiencing a ‘pre-midlife crisis’, sharing doubts in continuing to pursue acting. This comes after producer Amy Pascal revealed that Spider-Man: No Way Home would not be the last Spider-Man installment of the MCU franchise.
