WARNING! This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In the wake of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s December release, a new version of “Bully Maguire on Family Feud” has surfaced on YouTube. Tobey Maguire famously played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Sam Raimi’s sometimes campy Spider-Man trilogy. Following the decision to abandon plans for Spider-Man 4, Sony rebooted the franchise with Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012 with Andrew Garfield in the lead role. Of course, the franchise would be rebooted again after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, when Sony and Disney/Marvel Studios’ deal brought Peter Parker/Spider-Man into the MCU through Tom Holland.

In the latest MCU movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, Maguire and Garfield reprised their webslinging roles. The film sees its main character seek the help of his friendly neighbor sorcerer, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), undoing Mysterio’s identity reveal at the end of 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home. The subsequent spell goes awry, and characters from franchise past are brought into the MCU. They include Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Lizard (Rhys Ifans) — as well as two heroes familiar with the quote “with great power comes great responsibility.” Thankfully, Maguire’s variant wasn’t the Venom-enhanced, “bully” version from Spider-Man 3.

Mork on YouTube, the creator of many Tobey Maguire/Bully Maguire edits, recently shared the follow-up to the “Bully Maguire on Family Feud” video, which has over six million views. “Bully Maguire on Family Feud 2” sees landlord Ditkovich. Mr. Ditkovich (Sergei Ditkovich), who appeared in Spider-Man 2 and 3, and the eponymous Peter hassle Steve Harvey as a distressed Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) looks on. Check it out below:

The above parody video is one of many dedicated to the notorious "emo" Peter Parker sequence from Spider-Man 3. Like the infinite number of Bully Maguire memes online, “Bully Maguire on Family Feud” uses original footage and audio, slices it with something else, and creates an entirely new experience. Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy remains some of the most beloved and meme-able comic book movies, but the inclusion of Maguire and Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home has renewed interest in past iterations of Sony’s Spider-Man.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Sony Executive Amy Pascal have said they are actively developing Spider-Man 4. However, Holland isn’t under contract for another trilogy. However, despite opening up about potentially moving on from the role, it’s more likely that Holland’s tenure as Spider-Man isn’t really over. Regardless, the fandom has expressed overwhelming interest in seeing Garfield and Maguire's Spider-Men appear in other films beyond Spider-Man: No Way Home. While rumors persist that Garfield’s Spider-Man exists in Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters, theories suggest Maguire may cameo in Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. If Maguire does bother Cumberbatch, hopefully, he doesn’t tell him he’s “gonna put some dirt in [his] eye.”
