Potential spoilers for Marvel's upcoming Heroes Reborn arc below!

Marvel Comics will soon be taking readers to a world where the Avengers don't exist and many things are much different than how their usual universe operates. The upcoming Heroes Reborn arc will remix characters and give some new powers and costumes. Among the changes is Marvel's Champions, as Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Nova will be getting brand new costumes.

Last week, Marvel Comics revealed the upcoming Heroes Reborn storyline, which will be spearheaded by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness. The event will show a universe where the Avengers never formed: Iron Man never got trapped inside a cave and built his first suit of armor, Thor has become a hard-drinking Athiest who detests hammers, and Captain America will never be unfrozen from ice. Meanwhile, the Squadron Supreme, led by Marvel's Superman, Hyperion, will be the protectors of Earth, as they'll face threats from an Infinity Ring-wielding Thanos, Ultron, Doctor Juggernaut, and the Immortal Hulk. The only hero who will remember the previous Marvel Universe will be Blade, who is the last vampire on Earth.

On Wednesday, Marvel Comics revealed the brand new look for the team normally known as the Champions, consisting of Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales' Spider-Man, and Sam Alexander's Nova. Artist Karl Kerschl revealed a new cover for Heroes Reborn, that shows each young hero will be getting redesigns in the new universe.

Ms. Marvel's new look features more armor on her costume, as well as a gem/tiara on her forehead. Meanwhile, Nova appears to be part of Doctor Spectrum's version of the Nova Corps, as he sports a green and red costume that resembles Marvel's Green Lantern with a new helmet, and white gloves. The biggest change of any of the Champions comes to Miles Morales, who's ditched his Spider-ensemble in favor of a costume that is much more reminiscent of the Falcon. It's fair to assume he's not a web-slinger in this universe and might have the ability to fly instead. Readers will certainly learn more as time goes on, but in terms of redesigns, the looks are incredibly slick and just the right amount of bizarre to fit into the Heroes Reborn Universe.

These looks won't stick as this is a Marvel Universe that likely won't last beyond this arc. However, it's hard to argue that these new costumes aren't cool and unique. It's always fun to see new looks and in this case, Marvel seems to have nailed the alt-looks. Heroes Reborn is in stores in May.
