Spider-Man: No Way Home promo clip offers new footage of Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), MJ (Zendaya), and Ned (Jacob Batalon). It's still uncertain if a third trailer for the Jon Watts and Tom Holland-led blockbuster will be released. However, as the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere date nears, Marvel Studios and Sony are continuing to promote it through the roll-out of shorter TV spots, most of which include fresh snippets from the film and reveal more footage of supporting players in the story outside of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Picking up from the cliffhanger ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home where Peter's real identity was revealed to the world, Spider-Man: No Way Home deals with the immediate ramifications of that and more. The young Avenger seeks out Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for some help, since the whole snafu has also negatively impacted his loved ones like MJ and Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). While the sorcerer is eager to assist him, his involvement makes the whole predicament worse. Instead of resolving Peter's personal dilemma, the pair is then forced to face the arrival of multiversal threats to Earth, which include several returning villains from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man movies. Fortunately, amidst this whole crisis, Peter continues to have his loyal girlfriend and best friend to support him.

In celebration of the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets, the official Spider-Man Instagram account has shared its latest promotional spot. The video is a mix of old and fresh footage cut between the repeated announcement, "Tickets on sale now," with the latter including an additional look at the wall-crawler's fight with Alfred Molina's Doc Ock. Meanwhile, the promo also shows new scenes of Peter talking to Ned on the phone in the immediate aftermath of Spider-Man: Far From Home, clearly in the midst of a dangerous situation as Holland's Spider-Man shouts "Dude!" at his best friend over video call while balancing on a bridge with MJ. Based on the previously released Spider-Man: No Way Home trailers, all these snippets take place in the first half of the movie. The blockbuster is expected to be one of, if not the longest Spider-Man film thus far, so there are still plenty of complications to come following the events shown in this new clip. If anything, Spider-Man's fight with Doc Ock, which has been prominently used in Marvel Studios and Sony's marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home, will only be the first action sequence that instigates the succeeding events of the story. The match-up leads to Spider-Man besting the villain, and from there he is detained at what appears to be the Sanctum Sanctorium, thanks to the help of Doctor Strange.

Aside from the fight with Doc Ock, the Spider-Man: No Way Home clip reveals a new exchange between Peter and Ned. The pair's brief but funny exchange, which includes an equally humorous and unexpected cameo from Zendaya, indicates that his two friends (one now his girlfriend) will likely once again be key to Peter's story. Given the many colossal new threats that Peter is set to face in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the web-slinger will surely need his friends' help more than ever. Given their relationship in previous Spider-Man entries, it's doubtful that even a bombshell like Peter's true superhero identity could break them apart.
