The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has leaked ahead of Sony officially releasing it. Spider-Man: No Way Home is the highly anticipated third entry to the Jon Watts-directed trilogy. Tom Holland returns once again as Peter Parker, and the sequel also has Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in a leading role. Spider-Man: No Way Home releases this December, but surprisingly, Sony has yet to really kick off its marketing push.

Disney and Sony have provided a few updates in the past year, making fans even more anxious for the first trailer. Reports have run wild that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are returning in the sequel since No Way Home will be dealing with the multiverse. That has yet to be confirmed, but a few other big names are returning for the sequel. Alfred Molina is returning as Doc Ock, who last played the character in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. A villain from Garfield's series is also making a comeback, with Jamie Foxx being cast as Electro. Other characters like Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin have also been rumored for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but if those casting rumors are true, they probably won't be confirmed until the movie premieres.

According to THR, the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer reportedly leaked and has been making waves on Twitter and TikTok. Sony has been quick to take all of the videos down and send out copyright notices. As of right now, it hasn't been confirmed that the trailer was legit, but it seems likely since Sony is actively taking down tweets containing the trailer. The trailer was also supposedly watermarked with Wassila Lmouaci's name, who was a VFX artist on Thor: Ragnarok.

Spider-Man Far From Home and No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home's trailer was said to be premiering at the upcoming CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, which means trailer descriptions are bound to make their way online tomorrow. However, with the trailer having leaked, it's possible Sony will opt to release the trailer to the public tomorrow as well. Kevin Feige has said that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will premiere before the movie hits theaters, debunking false reports that the sequel wouldn't have a trailer at all.

Out of the three MCU movies releasing this yearSpider-Man: No Way Home is likely the most anticipated title. Merchandise has started to hit store shelves but Sony is building anticipation by waiting to debut the first official look at the movie. Even if the trailer doesn't come out tomorrow, it's only a matter of time before it is released. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings comes out in about a week, so it's likely the studios will want the trailer shown in theaters to start promoting the sequel. With Sony being so secretive about Spider-Man: No Way Home, it's not too surprising that they acted so quickly to get the trailer down.
