Tom Holland promises that Spider-Man: No Way Home will blow people's minds. With Chloé Zhao's Eternals now out in theaters, Marvel Studios is slowly shifting its marketing focus to its upcoming Sony Pictures Entertainment collaboration. Directed by Jon Watts, the blockbuster will mark Holland's third standalone outing as the wall-crawler in the Spider-Man movie trilogy, following 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home picks up from the game-changing ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home, in which Peter Parker's real identity was revealed to the world through Mysterio's (Jake Gyllenhaal) malicious dying confession. This expectedly turns Peter's world upside down and puts all his loved ones at risk. Without Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) to provide him with guidance and protection, Peter asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help. However, the sorcerer casts a spell that appears to open up a new wave of multiversal threats. Some of these threats have already appeared in previous trailers for Spider-Man: No Way Home, including the return of iconic Spider-Man villains like Alfred Molina's Doc Ock and the Green Goblin, and now the film has also received its first official poster.

The release of Spider-Man: No Way Home's one-sheet was long overdue before it dropped. Prior to this new image, No Way Home posters have been spotted internationally, hinting that Marvel Studios and Sony were gearing to ramp up the promotional activities for the film. With less than two months until the film hits theaters, a new poster (and a new trailer) have been highly-anticipated by fans for several weeks. Understandably, Holland couldn't say anything spoiler-specific regarding the threequel, but given the persistent speculation, there's no doubt that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be tackling an expansive narrative. Aside from MCU Peter's story, the movie could also show what Marvel's multiverse actually looks like for the first time, with appearances from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being strongly rumored to feature.

Amidst all these rumors, however, Kevin Feige warned Marvel fans to keep their expectations in check for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Partly due to the lack of official promotional material for the film, many have latched on to avid online theories as to what the movie's story and cast will be. While the MCU architect admitted that some of these possibilities are indeed true, others aren't. Ultimately, fans would be wise not to become too invested in any one theory in order to avoid disappointed when some, inevitably, don't pan out as they may have envisioned.
