The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster has been released and provides the first look at Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. Marvel Studios and Sony have spent the last few years collaborating on Spider-Man's movie future. Tom Holland's version of Peter Parker debuted in Captain America: Civil War and went on to star in two solo movies and two Avengers films. He's now set to star in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the final film in his Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy. While Phase 4 of the MCU is already well underway, this is one of Marvel's most anticipated projects due to its rumored contents.

Picking up after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, the MCU sequel is confirmed to include a multiverse-focused plot. This was heavily rumored for months and finally confirmed with Spider-Man: No Way Home's first trailer. The multiverse story brings Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) into the fold as someone who could reverse Mysterio revealing Peter's secret identity. However, the multiverse is also responsible for past Spider-Man villains Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and others returning. Marvel and Sony have kept the marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home to a minimum, but now that is finally starting to change.

Marvel Studios and Sony debuted the first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster today. The poster shows Tom Holland's Spider-Man in his Iron Spider suit with Dafoe's Green Goblin lurking in the background. Meanwhile, Doc Ock's mechanical arms, Electro's lighting, and sand from Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church) are also featured. This comes roughly a month before the MCU movie is scheduled to release exclusively in theaters. Check out the newest look at Spider-Man: No Way Home below:

Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin is best remembered as the main villain of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. He went on to appear in both sequels through haunting memories of Harry Osborn, but Norman's return in Spider-Man: No Way Home will be very different. This first look at his appearance looks to confirm that the Goblin suit look Dafoe's version of the character is known for will not change as he joins the MCU. Green Goblin's appearance in the Spider-Man: No Way Home poster comes on the heels of his Pumpkin Bomb showing up in the first trailer.

With the official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster now out, this is potentially a good sign that a new trailer will arrive soon. Marvel and Sony have held off on showing this poster for a surprisingly long time, but now this could be the start of the final marketing push. Now that Green Goblin has been shown in the poster, it is now possible that Willem Dafoe will be seen in the next Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer to get fans even more excited for his return.
