The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home photos featuring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's returns are released. The third solo film for Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was highly anticipated from the moment Spider-Man: Far From Home ended. The years that followed only saw excitement rise due to a variety of rumors connected to the multiverse. The possibility of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning to play Spider-Man was at the top of most wishlists for what Spider-Man: No Way Home would include once it was finally released in December 2021.

Sony, Marvel Studios, and everyone involved in Spider-Man: No Way Home refused to confirm that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would appear. However, the prominent rumors were finally confirmed once the movie hit theaters. It sparked Spider-Man: No Way Home's massive box office performance, which has seen the film climb to the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time. Despite the excitement generated by seeing all three live-action versions of Spider-Man together, Sony and Marvel still, surprisingly, have kept Maguire and Garfield out of official stills, TV spots, and posters from the post-release marketing campaign.

Now, official Spider-Man: No Way Home photos have finally surfaced online featuring Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man returns. The images come from Before and Afters, a VFX online magazine, as part of an interview with Spider-Man: No Way Home's visual effects supervisor Chris Waegner. The photos include the first official look at Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Men side-by-side-by-side, as well as Garfield's encounter with Electro, Maguire's encounter with Lizard, and the three versions of Spider-Man swinging into action together.

These Spider-Man: No Way Home photos mark the first time Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield have been featured in any official looks at the movie. Sony and Marvel went to great lengths to not show them previously, including digitally removing the former Spider-Men from shots in the trailers. There has been an increasing demand for official looks at both of them in Spider-Man: No Way Home, so this could be the start of Sony and Marvel featuring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in other movie materials.

While Sony and Marvel may have held off on showing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home's marketing to avoid spoilers, these photos officially mark the end of that moratorium period. Garfield is finally speaking freely about his involvement in interviews, and others involved in the movie are doing the same. Releasing these photos gives fans around the world a chance to share them and see some of Spider-Man: No Way Home's biggest moments once more.
