Jack Black finally addresses the rumors that he'll have a cameo appearance on Spider-Man: No Way HomeThe 52-year-old actor is known for his string of comedy films, including Shallow Hal, School of Rock, and Gulliver's Travels. Black is also the voice behind the hit Kung Fu Panda franchise, which now has three films, and several TV spin-offs. In 2003, Black appeared in a spoof for MTV Awards where he hilariously played Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Photos of that spoof have recently surfaced, prompting fans to speculate whether the funny actor will have a bit role in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The upcoming Marvel film, which is slated to arrive in theaters on December 17, is Tom Holland's third solo outing as the superhero. Benedict Cumberbatch joins him and will reprise his role as Doctor Strange. Other cast members include Spider-Man actors Zendaya, Marissa Tomei, Jon Favreau, and Jacob Batalon. Additionally, supervillains from past Spider-Man movies—from Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin to Jamie Foxx's Electro—are returning as Marvel attempts to explore the concept of the multiverse in Phase 4 of the MCU. Because many actors connected to the Spiderverse are confirmed to be part of Spider-Man: No Way Home, there's a flurry of rumors as to who else will make a cameo.

In a recent TikTok video, Black finally reacted to fan theories that he will appear in the highly anticipated superhero flickThe Kung Fu Panda star began by looking straight into the camera to address his fans, saying: "There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether or not I will be in Spider-Man No Way Home." However, the second half and the most important part of his message have been deliberately muted, throwing off fans into more confusion. By cutting off the video's audio, Black's post is clearly meant as a joke to throw off fans into more confusion. Fans quickly hopped in to try to decipher the inaudible message, but a professional lipreader has yet to weigh in. Meanwhile, others suggested that if Black indeed is making his way into the MCU via Spider-Man, he's the perfect actor to play either Peter's Uncle Ben or Mephisto.

Fans need to wait only a few more days before all their theories and casting predictions will be confirmed. The biggest reveal will be whether or not Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield will appear alongside Holland. While Marvel's ultra-tight security has everyone's lips sealed about spoilers, it is interesting to note that the multiverse opens up the MCU to infinite possibilities. At this point, anything can happen and fans should expect shocking revelations and exciting cameos when Spider-Man: No Way Home finally drops in theaters.
