A new Spider-Man: No Way Home clip releases seeing Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus mocking Tom Holland's high-tech Spider-Man suit during a fight. Molina reprises his role from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy alongside fellow vets Willem Dafoe and Thomas Haden Church as the Green Goblin and Sandman, respectively. They will be joined by The Amazing Spider-Man's Rhys Ifans as Lizard and The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Jamie Foxx as Electro in what audiences are hoping is building towards the first live-action incarnation of the Sinister Six.

The various villains make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in Spider-Man: No Way Home when Holland's Peter Parker turns to Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in the hopes of performing a spell that would wipe the world's memory of his dual identities as Parker and Spider-Man. However, the spell goes awry and opens the doors to the multiverse, inviting the antagonists to the MCU to face off against the titular webslinger, requiring Parker and Strange to find a way to send them back to their respective universes. After facing multiple release delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally gearing up to hit theaters this December.

As the wait nears an end for the film's arrival, Sony Pictures Canada has unveiled a new Spider-Man: No Way Home clip. The video is part of the bridge battle between the titular webslinger and Molina's Doc Ock, in which he pokes fun at Spider-Man's high-tech suit. Check out the fun new clip below:

A good portion of the film's marketing has been devoted to the highway battle between Spider-Man and Doc Ock, sparking many to joke on social media nearly the entire plot will take place there. The new Spider-Man: No Way Home clip does mark an interesting new look at the fight sequence, showing off a bit of the humor to be expected from Molina's Doc Ock. The video also features the first glimpse of the villain speaking with his artificial intelligence-powered tentacles, an aspect that was key to the character's transition into a tragic antagonist in Spider-Man 2.

It's also interesting to note that Doc Ock poking fun at Holland's high-tech suit in the new Spider-Man: No Way Home clip sees his tentacles as the same from his 2004 big-screen debut. Other trailers have pointed towards Doc Ock's tentacles getting their own upgrade with Tony Stark's tech, which many have theorized comes from the bridge battle as the tentacles interact with the nanobots making up the titular webslinger's Iron Spider suit. The wait for Spider-Man: No Way Home is nearly over as the film arrives in theaters on December 21.
