Official promotional art for Spider-Man: No Way Home may have revealed Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. Despite the already intense excitement over the nearing release of the film, Marvel Studios and Sony continue to ramp up their marketing efforts for the film. Aside from trailers and posters, a tie-in illustration has been released and it may have spoiled a portion of the threequel.

While the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home still function as the narrative jumping point for its direct sequel, it wouldn't be the primary focus of the blockbuster. Spider-Man: No Way Home will see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) deal with the ramifications of his superhero secret identity being exposed, but he has a bigger problem beyond that. Instead, it will focus on the movie's ties to MCU's budding multiverse thanks to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) casting a tampered spell that accidentally exposes Earth to other interdimensional villains such as Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), and Electro (Jamie Foxx). At this point, all of these antagonists have been confirmed to play significant roles in the movie after they explicitly appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home's second trailer. However, fans are still wondering about Maguire and/or Andrew Garfield's rumored involvement.

Fanning the flames of Spider-Man: No Way Home speculations is a new piece of tie-in art from Indonesia's largest bank, Bank Mandiri (via @sebbazz/Twitter) which sees two Spider-Men fighting Electro in the middle of the street. One is presumably Holland, while the other, based on his suit, could be Maguire's version of the wall-crawler. Check out the image below:

This isn't the first time that Maguire's Spider-Man was featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home tie-in promo art. As part of Bark Box's promo art for the film, one fan noticed that behind Holland's MCU hero is a portion of Maguire's version of the wall-crawler. It's a much smaller reveal compared to this one, but it was still fascinating for many. What's interesting here is that the Bank Mandiri illustration explicitly features another Spider-Man. While it's difficult to say for sure if it's going to actually be Maguire since there's no face reveal, the mere fact that it depicts more than one Spider-Man already lends credence to the idea that previous iterations of the Marvel hero will appear in the threequel.

It's worth noting, however, that sometimes, tie-in promotional materials don't necessarily have accurate descriptions of what happens in the film. Sometimes, they're created by an artist in a way to link a brand with a movie. So, there's still a chance that this specific scene doesn't come to fruition in the blockbuster. In any case, fans are just excited to find out if rumors are true that Maguire and/or Garfield will be in the film. Perhaps Spider-Man: No Way Home's third trailer can confirm that when it releases next week.
