Andrew Garfield continues to deny any involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home and knows that he can't convince anyone that he's not in the movie. Quite possibly the most anticipated MCU film since Avengers: EndgameNo Way Home will be Tom Holland's third solo movie as Peter Parker. With so many rumors swirling around the film, including the introduction of the multiverse that was broken wide open at the end of Loki, many have assumed that both Garfield and Tobey Maguire would be reprising their roles as Spider-Man in the upcoming film.

These rumors have been bolstered by the confirmed appearances of Jamie Foxx's Electro from the Garfield films and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock from the Sam Raimi trilogy. Garfield has denied appearing in No Way Home before and even Holland has said that he is unaware of whether or not the two Spider-Man veterans are involved. Still, rumors have persisted as hype for the film grows higher and higher.

In an interview with Variety, Garfield has once again tried to set the record straight. While the actor admits that it would be pretty cool to see the three Spider-Men together onscreen, he wants to go on the record and say that he's not involved in No Way Home whatsoever. Still, the actor knows his comments are in vain. Garfield admits that he's unlikely to convince anyone that he isn't in the movie and that no matter what he says, no one will believe him. Check out his full comments below:

I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I’m a fan as well. You can’t help but imagine scenes and moments of ‘Oh, my God, how fucking cool would it be if they did that?' But it’s important for me to say on the record that this is not something I’m aware I am involved in. But I know I’m not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don’t know what’s happening. No matter what I say, I’m fucked. It’s either going to be really disappointing for people or it’s going to be really exciting.

Doctor Strange casts a spell for Peter Parker in Spider-Man No Way Home

Garfield is exactly right - no one is going to listen to his denials for a slew of different reasons. Purported leaks from the set seem to show him filming scenes for the upcoming film, a No Way Home wrap gift appears to have his Spider-Man suit on it, and Garfield's former stunt double accidentally shared a picture of himself on set with Holland before he quickly deleted it. Plus, it's not like Garfield would be able to reveal one of Marvel's most heavily guarded secrets if it is true.

At this point, nothing will be able to stop the hype train surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home except for the movie itself. As Garfield points out, people are either going to be really excited or really disappointed when the movie finally releases. Even if Garfield and Maguire aren't involved, though, it certainly seems like the film has a lot of surprises in store, including some familiar villains and quite possibly an evil Doctor Strange.
