Tom Holland shares a GIF of himself dancing in the Spider-Man suit to celebrate the start of filming on Spider-Man: Homecoming 3 in Atlanta. Holland and other cast members, including Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned), are in the Georgia capital to film the third solo outing for Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Plot details are a tightly-held secret at the moment, as is standard for the MCU, but what is known currently is Jamie Foxx will return as Electro, reprising the role he played alongside Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

With the cast in Atlanta and the second unit having already filmed establishing shots and visual effects backgrounds in Queens, New York City early in October, it's clear cameras on the movie have begun rolling. Indeed, Batalon seemed to confirm as much when he posted a photo of Ned's new look for Spider-Man: Homecoming 3, resulting from the actor's dramatic 102-pound weight loss. He later shared his reaction to reading the film's script, further confirming that production is in full swing. The movie is expected to shoot through the winter to be ready for its December 2021 release.

Now, Holland posted an old GIF of himself dancing in the Spider-Man suit from Homecoming to celebrate the start of filming. It's a simple loop, showing Holland raising his hands in the sky while getting ready for a shot in front of a green screen while a nonplussed crew member sits below him. You can see the video, via a fan account Twitter page, below:

It's a small confirmation from Holland that he seems to have started filming and that he's enjoying it. It's refreshing to see an actor still enjoying the role so openly, especially since it's his sixth appearance as Spider-Man, after the two previous solo movies, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Though for actors in the MCU, it seems as though the opportunity to play iconic superheroes and get paid truckloads of money at the same time is a highlight of their careers, with former Captain America, Chris Evans, saying he already misses playing the character.

Of course, the big news is that Holland has suited up as Spider-Man once again, meaning production on Spider-Man: Homecoming 3 is most certainly swinging along. Like all others these days, the movie is operating under COVID safety protocols and hopefully will run smoothly without any positive tests. Major productions, including Jurassic World: Dominion and The Batman, have been delayed by cases, but others, like Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds' Red Notice, managed to complete filming without any issues. That might indicate that crews have adjusted to the new protocols and are avoiding infection, a good sign for all productions, including this MCU blockbuster, going forward.
