Fans can finally rejoice as Sony and Marvel Studios finally released the trailer for one of the most-anticipated movies of 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The wait became so arduous that the trailer was leaked a day before the official release. Now, the wait is on for December 17 as fans are eager to see what unfolds after watching the trailer.

It is unclear if this was done intentionally or coincidentally by Marvel Studios. At least Wanda deserves some credit for her prediction game.
Matt Murdock, Is That You?
Last year, it was confirmed that Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx would reprise their roles as Doctor Octopus and Electro, which raised the possibilities of a multiverse storyline. Throughout these last few months, fans speculated other characters could return to the MCU. One character that surfaced was Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, and this speculation came to light when news outlets shared rumors about Charlie Cox reprising him.

A Long Sacrifice For A No Show
The multiverse is confirmed, and Spider-Man's supervillains have already appeared in the trailer. However, many fans are curious if Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield will return as their versions of Spider-Man and encounter Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Almost every Phase Four content has shown impacts to the space, time, and reality continuum, making the possibilities of a multiverse inevitable. Therefore, many people believed that the responsibilities rested on Doctor Strange's shoulders to clean the mess. He has experience with the time stone and thinks philosophically and rationally rather than emotionally.
However, as shown in the trailers, Doctor Strange is also at fault for causing the multiverse break, and it is a reckless action that viewers did not anticipate. Of course, he now joins Wanda, Sylvie, and Loki for carelessly unleashing the multiverse.

A multiverse is a significant event that will impact Phase Four, and the instability so far seen is only just the beginning. As shows like Loki and WandaVision showcased hints of the multiverse unleashing, Doctor Strange committed the most atrocious act of messing with the timeline to help Peter Parker with his situation.
Of course, the multiverse is only setting up for the MCU's biggest bad, Kang the Conqueror, an avid time-traveler who will likely try to take over different dimensions.
