A new Spider-Man fan poster pits Miles Morales and Peter Parker against the villain Venom. As of right now, there are three Spider-Man movie universes. There's the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony's live-action villain universe, as well as Sony's animated Spider-Man universe, which recently kicked off its debut with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse this past weekend.

As of right now, these three universes have remained mostly separate. The post-credits scene for Venom confirmed that Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse exist in the same multiverse, but still exist in separate universes. Tom Holland currently plays Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which means that Sony won't have their own live-action web-slinger for quite a while. For years, both Sony and Marvel Studios have denied the theory that their universes would one day crossover, but fans have continued to speculate on how this might be possible. That being said, it doesn't stop talented artists from imagining what it could be like if these characters did actually crossover.

Digital artist BossLogic has taken to Twitter to reveal a new fan-made poster for his proposed third film in the Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy. BossLogic titled the poster Spider-Man: Homies, which is not the official title for the movie, but is clever nonetheless. It is also worth mentioning that this version of Venom has the white spider-symbol on his chest, which was previously absent from Tom Hardy's Venom design. While fans might not see all three of these characters crossover anytime soon, it appears that fans will be getting a ton of Spider-Man movies in the coming years. Not only will Holland be swinging back to the big screen for Spider-Man: Far From Home next year, but Sony is also planning several films in their two universes. Into the Spider-Verse is getting a sequel, as well as an all-female spinoff, and there's even potential for a Spider-Ham spinoff (though that's not been greenlit). While Venom 2 and Morbius, The Living Vampire seem to be top priorities for their live-action villain universe, Sony may also be giving characters like Kraven the Hunter, Silver Sable, Black Cat, and Silk their own movies as well.

Marvel Studios and Sony seem to be developing their own plans for their Spider-Man universe, but it is always possible the two companies could strike a deal to have one big Spider-Man crossover. After all, fans have reason to doubt these studios when people like Jeff Pinker, Venom screenwriter, has teased a Venom and Spider-Man crossover film; not to mention that awkward interview with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal that spawned dozens of internet memes. For now, though, fans will just have to settle for incredible fan-made posters like the one above.
