Costumes are basic when it comes to superheroes, but Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes it another step forward with some outrageously dope designs. Spanning between urban and futuristic concepts, Miles' costumes could beat almost any super-heroes wardrobe including his own mentor Peter Parker. Spider-Man PS4 has a lot to offer costume-wise giving players dozens of colors and styles. But one thing Peter Parker doesn't have is his very own Kitty sidekick to finish off every bad buy with a signature swipe.
It can be rough living in Harlem, and even more so being it's very own friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Miles has a lot of catching up to do as far as owning the Spider-man mantle similarly to Peter Parker. It might be easier to push forward believing he hasn't a thing to prove to anybody, but as a neighborhood super-hero, maintaining the trust and support of the citizens is essential to operate successfully. Our cat in question is named after Peter Parker or rather Spider-man, and resides at a local bodega in Harlem. His owner is a fan of the "original" Spider-man but turning him and his cat into a fan of Miles', is the key to unlocking the costume.
How to Unlock the Bodega Cat Costume in Spider-Man: Miles Morales
There are a few things to do in order to unlock this costume. The most important is completing two related quests as well as finishing the game. So players won't be able to get the most out of this costume until maybe New Game+. The quests absolutely necessary would be the "Looters!" mission and "Cat's Pyjamas". Of course, one more important step is to get a hold of the FNSM app. This app allows Miles' to take on requests from neighborhood residents. Both these quests are issued through the app so having it is very important. The mission "La Nochebuena" will provide Miles with the app upon its completion.
The first quest Looters! brings miles to the Teo's bodega, home of Spider-man the cat. Some thieves had broken in and stolen a number of items including Spider-man the cat. This mission will take players to a local power plant where there are roughly 2-3 rooms of enemies destroying the power supply. Deal with them stealthily or in a full-on brawl but be careful since they have fully automatic weapons. Players will come across the cat soon in an air-vent, and then afterward descending an elevator. Pull the elevator gear with webbing and stick it in place to descend before reaching the final room. Some more baddies will be there, take them out, and go turn on the power. Before flipping the switch a cut-scene will start showing cat Spider-man being held a bit forcefully by a large goon. Fight him and his buddies to rescue cat Spider-man and turn back on the power.
The next quest "Cat's Pyjamas" is pretty easy and simple. Head to Teo's bodega after he calls letting you know that cat Spider-man has taken quite a liking to Miles. Once there, pet cat Spider-man and a cut scene will begin. Miles' changes costumes and now includes a backpack housing cat Spider-man with its very own Spidey themed mask. Time to go fight and scratch up crime.
