The first look at an additional suit from Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming may have been revealed today. It wouldn't be the first time that fans have gotten to see Tom Holland's Peter Parker sporting multiple super suits either, after making his debut in the Stark-designed technological version of the Spider-Man suit in last year's Captain America: Civil War, before being downgraded back to his homemade costume in the last trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Considering that one of the biggest questions many comic book fans have always had, is how a broke kid like Peter Parker managed to design his very own skin-tight costume, Marvel Studios has done a good job at explaining it with their take on the character.
The suit being designed by Tony Stark doesn't just further explain the origin of the suit either, it also continues to establish and build the mentor-protege relationship between Holland's Peter and Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in the new films. That plays directly into the plot of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which finds Peter desperately trying to prove himself worthy of being an Avenger, by trying to take on a number of dangerous new villains like The Vulture (Michael Keaton) and The Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) by himself.
But it looks like Peter may sport more than just two different Spider-Man costumes in Homecoming. The image first surfaced on Reddit, a new Homecoming toy has been released today featuring Holland's Spider-Man wearing an all blue and black version of his film costume called the "Tech Suit," which some fans are speculating could be the look of a currently unannounced version of the costume that may appear in the new film. Check out the image for yourself down below:
Now, as always with these kinds of toy-related reveals, make sure to take all of this with a grain of salt for the time being. After all, while this could indeed be a version of Holland's suit that appears in Homecoming, it could also be nothing more than just a variant toy being released in conjunction with the film. It wouldn't be the first or last time that has happened by any means.
But even if the blue "Tech Suit" doesn't appear in Homecoming, fans of the character can still look forward to seeing the character in a much different version of the traditional Spider-Man costume than any they've seen in a live-action film before. With web-wings included in the suit's arms, a detachable Spider symbol on the chest, along with a couple other notable adjustments, Marvel is going out of its way to make this version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man as unique as possible. So far, it's fair to say that they've succeeded in doing that, with flying colors.
