Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is planning to tell MJ (Zendaya) how he really feels about her in a new Spider-Man: Far From Home TV spot. Marvel Studios will follow up Avengers: Endgame with the friendly neighborhood hero's second standalone adventure. In collaboration with Sony Pictures, Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts returns to helm the sequel that will deal with the aftermath of Thanos' initial triumph and then ultimate defeat. Far From Home will be the final film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 3, and will see Peter on a trip across the pond with his schoolmates.

Hoping for a stress-free vacation to help him cope with the loss of his mentor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Peter joins his friends on a tour across Europe in Far From Home. However, what was supposed to be a fun recreational trip gets hijacked by Nick Fury (Sam Jackson), who recruits him for a mysterious mission. The former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduces Spider-Man to Quentin Beck aka Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) - supposedly a hero from another dimension who needs help tackling the Elementals. Apparently, the snap using all six Infinity Stones tore open a portal that now allows for interdimensional travel. Reluctantly answering the call of duty, Peter joins the team during his tour, sabotaging the string of things he wants to do during the break, which apparently includes confessing his feelings for MJ.

Marvel and Sony rolled out a new Far From Home TV spot, shared on YouTube by Jayden Marvel, featuring Peter excitedly listing his plans for the trip to Ned. There are three things on his must-dos, including doing something that's not on the itinerary; doing something fun; and telling MJ how he feels about her. His best friend discourages him to do any of those because because he wants to be American bachelors in Europe - a claim that Peter is skeptical about. This is ironic since Ned (Jacob Batalon) will already be with Betty by the time they fly out. Watch the new TV spot below:

Far From Home will see Peter develop a couple of integral relationships, both in his personal and professional life. Previous trailers leaned on Spider-Man's dynamic with Mysterio - something that he needs to be careful about considering the character's conniving ways from the comics. At this point, it's safe to say that his true colors will eventually be revealed, leading to a more villainous depiction of the role. The film's marketing has also highlighted the budding romance between MJ and Peter, and at one point, the latter even says he thinks that she likes him.

Amid the looming idea that Spider-Man: Far From Home may officially be MCU's entry into the multiverse, the film is still grounded on Peter's relationships - a good thing since this will help the narrative remain focused on him and his story. Considering that the clip takes place before the gang leaves for Europe, it seems like Peter and MJ have been growing closer, since the former is almost already certain about what he feels about her. It's unknown if they've developed their friendship in the two years between Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War, or it's just after the status quo was restored following Endgame. Regardless of whether or not something comes out of this courtship, fans can expect MJ to play a bigger role in Peter's outings as the wall-crawling hero, since she eventually figures out his secret identity.
