Dr. Pepper's Spider-Man: Far From Home tie-in product teases Mysterio's fishbowl helmet. The Jon Watts-directed sequel is rumored to feature a slew of villains such as Vulture (who's returning after his debut in Spider-Man: Homecoming), Hydro-Man, Chameleon and even Molten Man, but Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) main adversary is believed to be Mysterio, supposedly played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Earlier this month, a Far From Home set video taken in Prague seemed to reveal the first look at Mysterio. But since it was taken from afar, not to mention the grainy quality of the image, it has been difficult to  figure whether or not it was Gyllenhaal in the suit. It's important to note that either Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures has yet to confirm that Mysterio will make his live-action debut in the sequel, let alone the casting detail. That said, considering the colors and look of his costume, many were convinced that it's indeed the villain. One significant piece seemingly missing in the bad guy's ensemble, however, is his helmet causing concern for comic book purists. Luckily, a new tie-in item may have just confirmed the inclusion of said gear.

An image of a limited edition Dr. Pepper, which is set to release as part of the promotion for Far From Home, has convinced people that Mysterio's iconic fishbowl headgear will make its live-adaptation debut in the sequel. While the can itself didn't provide a look at the villain, the outline of the mysterious character definitely checks out with Mysterio's figure while wearing his helmet. Aside from the bit about Mysterio, it's also quite odd that there are already Far From Home tie-in items when there are still Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 on the Marvel Studios docket before the sequel. Kevin Feige and his team are understandably keeping things on the down low for next year's Phase 3 capper - so much so that it still has no official title six months before it hit theaters. Captain Marvel, on the other hand, had a promotional blitz a couple of months back with the release of its first trailer, not to mention the extensive feature from EW, but fans have yet to see other official marketing materials for the Brie Larson-starrer.

At this point, everyone has basically accepted the fact that Parker, alongside a slew of other disintegrated heroes in Avengers: Infinity War will be brought back to life one way or another. But it's one thing to anticipate that and another to almost disregard the fact that it's still unknown how the web-slinging hero will be back. Despite the exciting possibility, it's still best to treat this new detail with a pinch of salt considering that Marvel and Sony have yet to comment on the matter. Needless to say, it will be very interesting how Marvel Studios will tackle Spider-Man: Far From Home's marketing given that promotional efforts for the sequel and Avengers 4 will more likely overlap considering how close their release dates are.
