Little Angel have once again delivered an awesome new video for kids to enjoy, and this time it's all about Spider-Man villains. Previously, Little Angel brought us Awesome Marvel, a video that blended everyone's favorite superheroes with animals. The results; Spider-Pig, Panda Merica, Iron Lionman, Green Gummybear Hulk, and Jumping Super-Squirrel, proved to be highly entertaining for kids - and now Little Angel have done it again.
Taking the villains of Spider-Man, Doctor Ock, Venom, Green Goblin and Vulture, Little Angel have seamlessly blended them with animals (and one fruit) to create a whole new legion of villains for Spider-Man, or Spider-Pig, even, to fight. A super-kooky Baboon and Doctor Ock put together become Doc Octo Baboon, while Venom and a baby Tiger morph into a super-mean toxic tiger. Green Goblin blends with a red lobster to make a super-bad green lobster, and finally, a banana mixed with Vulture results in a flying Vulture-banana.
While the video is a whole lot of fun to watch, particularly for the under-seven's, it also serves a purpose. With Spider-Man: Homecoming rated PG-13, some families might decide to wait until home release for their younger kids to watch, and they may even decide to wait until they're older to let them see such a movie. In the meantime, however, it's undeniable that merchandise is everywhere, and kids want to have an understanding of who is represented in the toys, costumes, or other products on sale.
This Awesome Marvel vs Venom song is the perfect introduction to Doctor Ock, Venom, Green Goblin and The Vulture, the latter of which features as the main villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The animation is bright, quirky, and easy to follow, but the villains are still depicted accurately enough that young kids will know who they are in the future. Going forward, it helps them to have a greater recognition and understanding of who's who in the world of Spider-Man, which in turn will help them enjoy the comic books, movies, games and other iterations of Spider-Man that much more.
What's great about this video is that the villains are presented more as baddies with a smile than anything truly sinister, meaning that even the very young can get in on the action and enjoy watching. The song is super-catchy, too, and we defy you not to be singing along pretty soon! Couple this video with the previous Awesome Marvel one, and you have the perfect kids introduction to the world of superheroes.
