Spider-Man battles the Avengers in a brand new fan-created video. It was a big year for Marvel's quintessential superhero. Coming off of years of being isolated in his own film series, Peter Parker finally joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe via 2016's Captain America: Civil War and then was sent to his own adventure in Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming which debuted just this summer.

For the longest time, fans could only live their dreams of seeing Spider-Man interact with other Marvel characters just like he does in the pages of the comics. All of that eventually turned into a reality when Sony Pictures Entertainment struck a deal with Marvel Studios that made it possible for the wall-crawling superhero to now exist in the established MCU. That being said, simulated videos continue to populate the internet as a form of alternative entertainment for people who continue to conjure scenarios in their head featuring their favorite characters.

The video has come courtesy of YouTube content-making channel, VS GAG, and features Spider-Man wearing his newest Iron-Spidey armor teased by the end of Homecoming and again in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer. But instead of gearing head-to-head against Mad Titan Thanos just like how it's posed in the current MCU storytelling, he is battling Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor. Just like Parker's new outfit, the members of the original big screen Avengers line-up appear to be sporting their latest looks, bar Steve Rogers, who is still sporting his iconic super soldier ensemble complete with his uniform's cowl and not his nomad inspired ensemble with a full-bearded face.

Avengers Infinity War Spider-Man Stands Tall

The last bit of the video, which makes a live-action jump, is obviously a callback on Peter's encounter with ATM robbers wearing Avengers masks at the start of Homecoming. The masked culprits turned out to be Vulture's henchmen, who used alien-tech for their mischievous outings. Although the clip could have gone without its final scenes considering how epic the previous animation in it was, it was still a fun bit, especially with the incorporation of computer graphics in the last sequence.

While it was fun seeing Spidey whoop the Avengers just with his sheer agility and web shooters, watching him fight alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes sounds way cooler. That will definitely be the case in the upcoming Infinity War as almost all heroes that exist in the MCU coming together to prevent Thanos from wreaking havoc in the whole universe once he gets his hands on all the mystical Infinity Stones.
