The Spider-Verse character known as Ghost-Spider, more commonly referred to by fans as Spider-Gwen, has become a cosplay mainstay ever since her debut, with this new custom design erasing the line between comic books and real life!

Shared on Instagram by Bianca Bella (@biancabellacosplay), this Australian native just last year celebrated her tenth year as a cosplayer with her account consistently posting pics that are almost exclusively of Bianca dressed as one hero and one hero only: Spider-Gwen.

Also posing with various other Spider-Man-related cosplayers when the inspiration strikes, Bianca is known for putting her own twist on her Spider-Gwen designs by subtly tweaking them depending on the particular comic moment being adapted, the holiday festivities being celebrated, or the variant version of the character being cosplayed as, with Bianca’s wild Carnage x Ghost-Spider mash-up being one of her best looks!

Spider-Gwen Cosplay Brings Her Iconic Look Into Live-Action

An alternate Gwen Stacy hailing from a parallel Earth where she never died at the hands of the Green Goblin, Spider-Gwen has an iconic white, black, and pink symbiote spider costume that immediately became a fan-favorite design that cosplayers love to embody. Upping her profile and enhancing her visual appeal in the Oscar-winning animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Gwen has become a staple Marvel character that has crossed over more than once into the main Marvel continuity to a point where she’s now practically an Earth-616 citizen!

Photographed by @keyframes_aus, both images show off Bianca’s highly comic-accurate suit, a costume that looks like it somehow found a way to walk right off the comic panel and into the real world. Edited in the first photo with some fun Spider-Sense doodles around her hood while she thwips a web into the city, it’s the second picture that truly nails the live-action look of a Spider-Man character that needs an MCU debut. Taking the same creative approach to Spider-Gwen’s Spider-Sense power and her ever-versatile wrist webs as the first image did, the second photo sees Bianca stuck to a similarly colored wall as her costume's hues, with her Spider-Sense doing far more than tingling and a single falling, spiraling web draping down and around her, completing a Marvel Comics cosplay look that Hollywood needs to take note of.

It might be a while before Ghost-Spider is brought into the MCU’s live-action space, but with Bianca Bell (@biancabellacosplay) giving it her all as the character, fans at least have something to tide them over until then. Spider-Gwen’s costume design is a great one, and when it comes to cosplay offerings like this one, they make it even better!
