Spellbreak is a magical take on the battle royale genre, but of course, players still need to be able to customize their wizards. Like any good battle royale, Spellbreaks offers players the ability to buy new outfits and cosmetics by using the in-game store. Gold is the only currency in Spellbreak, and it is the sole means in which players can purchase in-game cosmetics.

Cosmetics include two different contrails, one for when the player is diving on to the battlefield and one for when the player is flying around the map. Players can also buy new costumes that range in price depending on their rarity. There are emotes, emblems, and tags that players can purchase. However, players will need a substantial amount of gold before they can purchase anything from the shop. Luckily, this guide will teach players the easiest ways to obtain more gold.

Obtaining Gold in Spellbreak

The simplest method of obtaining gold would be to purchase it from the game's store using real-world money, but Spellbreak offers players plenty of opportunities to earn a lot of gold without spending a dime. The easiest way to earn more gold without spending money is to level up. Players have the opportunity to level up both their school of magic and their mage level with every game they play.

The player has 100 mage levels of progression with every level granting the player a certain amount of gold. Players level up faster by placing better in matches and exiling more players. The better a player performs during a match the more experience they will gain which will allow them to level up quicker. The faster a player levels up the faster they will earn more gold. But players can earn gold even faster.

Before each round, a player gets to choose which school of magic they want to take into battle. That school that the player chooses is the one that will gain experience at the end of that round. Each school has its own tiers of level progression with multiple tiers containing more gold. Players can simultaneously level up their schools of magic and their mage level to have a better chance of unlocking gold. There is a finite amount of gold a player can earn through leveling so they will want to spend the gold they earn wisely. It is unknown whether the player's mage levels will reset after a certain period of time which is all the more reason to be a frugal buyer.
