Netflix has unveiled the first images from Space Force season 2, also announcing the show's upcoming premiere date. The series, created by Steve Carrell and Greg Daniels, takes Carrell back to his TV roots with a goofy workplace comedy. However, this series uses the premise of the real-life Space Force established in 2019 as its muse, with a cast of wild characters embodying the fictional version.

The show received mixed reviews after its May 2020 debut, but that didn't stop Netflix from renewing Space Force season 2. Now, Netflix has unveiled a new series poster on Twitter that reveals the streamer is planning to release new episodes on February 18. The post read, "Not even gravity can keep them down" along with the announcement of the premiere date. The poster captures the wacky and weird atmosphere that was so endearing in Season 1.

Space Force stars Carrell as the uptight General Mark R. Naird and John Malkovich as the eccentric Dr. Adrian Mallory as they lead their fellow goofball coworkers tasked with establishing the absurd sixth branch of the U.S. military. After a long break period, Space Force is ready to blast off in 2022 with new episodes that are sure to be out-of-this-world hilarious.
