Southern Charm's Austen Kroll plans on calling out so-called "fake" castmates at the show's reunion special. Craig Conover and Shep Rose have already said that the reunion is going to be insane as most of the cast have a lot on their minds.
Kroll has had a rough season on Southern Charm when it comes to relationships. He self-sabotaged his love life when he listened to Conover and Rose as they proclaimed their dislike for Madison LeCroy, breaking up with her early on in the season; last year, he was dumped by ex-Chelsea Meissner, claiming he had used her as his sugar mama when he didn’t have a job. On season 6, fans watched as Kroll was caught by girlfriend, Le Croy, participated in a threesome that ended up going viral, lost his friendship with castmate Rose, and failed to get his beer business off the ground.
According to Reality Tea, Kroll stated that he was very let down by his fellow cast member's authenticity while they were being filmed. The reality star felt that his storylines were the star of the show, while his castmates just ended up piggybacking off Kroll’s relationship woes. There are several cast members this season who do not add to the show's plot lines, such as Cameran Eubanks, who just was the narrator, and Meissner, who had a boyfriend while they filmed this past season but never introduced him to the cameras.
In a recent interview on Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Kroll expressed excitement for this year’s reunion, saying he is very interested in calling people out on their issues, including Rose. Kroll continued to say that this year had been very hard for him and he saw other castmates struggle as well, but they didn’t share their troubles with the cameras. By not allowing the fans to watch the good, bad, and ugly, Kroll felt as if certain Charmer’s had done a disservice to the show, and he ended the season feeling very “disappointed.”
It doesn’t seem that the cast of Southern Charm is nervous about the upcoming reunion and what will be divulged. Kroll’s relationship with LeCroy is still up in the air, as is Kathryn Dennis’s custody battle with her ex, Thomas Ravenel. The reunion is promised to be an electrifying showdown between friends-turned-rivals, Rose and Kroll.
Southern Charm airs Wednesday at 9pm EST on Bravo.
