Kathryn Dennis from Southern Charm has had to fight an uphill battle when it comes to her child custody arrangement with Thomas Ravanel. Bravo viewers are curious to know where she stands in her ongoing quest to regain full custody of her daughter and son. The reality star is the mother to her daughter Kensie, who is seven, and her son Saint, who is four.

She welcomed her children with her then-partner, the disgraced former South Carolina Treasurer, Thomas Ravenel. The duo met on the show when Kathryn was only 21 and continued on the series for five years. Fans watched as Thomas often made her question her sanity by gaslighting her. She had an epic meltdown on a warship, which led her to run down the dock after Thomas. Kathryn has had to put up with a lot from Thomas, but she slowly regained control over her life. Now, she is now looking to do the same with her children.

Since Southern Charm season 7 finished filming, the debutante has been all about spending some quality time with her two children and her new boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell. Kensie and Saint often appear in her posts and Instagram stories. Bravo fans learned that Thomas doesn't feel that Kathryn should be a full-time mother. He currently has full custody. Kathryn is allowed daytime weekend visits. However, 29-year-old Kathryn is looking to make some big moves in hopes of regaining some form of parental rights. She recently hired trial attorney Susan Rawls Strom, who has over 20 years of experience.

The newest hurdle for the mother of two is trying to stop Thomas from moving the children to Aiken, South Carolina. The next court hearing for the former couple is scheduled for October. The date is set six weeks after the court allowed the 59-year-old to enroll their children in school in Aiken. Charleston is two hours from Thomas' new home, making it impossible for Kathryn to see her children on a daily basis.

In April, Thomas ranted on Twitter (in now-deleted tweets), expressing that the kids would go in foster care rather than live with Kathryn if he couldn't care for them. @BravoSnarkSide caught this tweet: "I have been told in no uncertain terms that if something were to happen to me or if false allegations were brought against me forcing me into a desperate situation that I’d not lose the kids to Kathryn but rather they’d go to DSS and into foster care.”

Kathryn is done with the vague threats and will be using all of Thomas' social media posts as evidence. There is a lot to go through regarding court documents since both have accused one another of having substance abuse issues. Southern Charm season 8 is set to film in September, with many viewers hoping to see an update on Kathryn's battle for her children. Until then, Bravo fans can stay up to date by waiting for the court hearing.
