Leva Bonaparte from Southern Charm got plastic surgery shortly after her son was born, and she recently opened up about the process. The reality star has always been honest with the people in her life, and she's now getting candid with Southern Charm viewers. When she joined the reality series this past season, Leva quickly became a fan favorite. Viewers love her willingness to be as real as she can be on TV.

Viewers met Leva during Southern Charm season 7 episode 1. Even though she has been friends with the cast for quite some time, she didn't become a cast member until recently. Leva has said that other cast members coddle Kathryn Dennis. However, Bonaparte made quite the impression on viewers when she tried to take Kathryn Dennis under her wing, so Dennis could better handle her recent racially insensitive controversy. Leva wanted to help Kathryn but Dennis never seemed to understand the severity of what she did. However, Leva stood by Kathryn anyway, due to their budding friendship.

Last month, Leva Bonaparte shared a photo of herself to her Instagram, alongside a lengthy caption. In the caption, she talked about the plastic surgery she got after giving birth to her son, Lamar Jr. While she is a fairly private person, the 41-year-old decided to get candid about her elective surgery. Her followers kept asking about her recent weight loss, so she told her story online. She explained her history with weight gain over the years, including her 70-pound weight gain during her pregnancy with her son. Leva reached her highest weight during the COVID-19 pandemic. While diet and exercise helped her lose a "good bit" of the weight she'd gained, she revealed that there were still some "stubborn areas" that she couldn't fix. See her post below:

Leva decided to reach out to board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Clayton Crantford. She asked him what work she should get done. Leva did not go into specifics about the procedures that she chose, but let people know that she was pleased with the outcome. "He exceeded my expectations! My new tweaked [Dr. Clayton Crantford] bod looks more natural [than I] expected and [I’m] over the moon!" Leva wrote in her caption, adding, "So mommas do the work then do what makes you happy BUT only with the right doctor. Just keeping it real for you." Overall, Leva is pleased with Dr. Crantford's work and feels comfortable in her own skin.

Leva is thrilled with the way that her body looks now, so plastic surgery was a good choice for her. The Southern Charm star is clearly feeling empowered because she's happy with her body image. Leva is a huge proponent of doing what makes you feel good. Most of her fans approve of her choices.
