Former Southern Charm star, Thomas Ravenel, has welcomed a third child with a new woman. The Bravo personality kept his news a secret from long-time fans until July 13, 2020.
Fans of the popular show will recall that Kathryn Dennis and Thomas have had a tough, drawn-out custody battle which definitely got ugly for both reality stars. However, they came to an agreement back in December 2019. Ravenel had filed for sole custody of their two children, Kensington and Saint, following Dennis' alleged positive drug test result. Dennis has always been open about her past drug issues but adamantly denies the Southern Charm allegations that her ex made. Now, the show's most notorious playboy has added a third child to the mix.
In a surprise announcement, Ravenel revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend Heather Mascoe welcomed a baby boy on June 29, 2020. The Daily Mail broke the news to fans who, to be honest, had no idea that Thomas Ravenel was going to be a father again. The couple revealed that they had named their brand-new bundle of joy, Jonathan Jackson Ravenel. The mother gave birth via a C-section. The baby came into the world weighing a healthy 7 lbs. and 4 oz. He was 20.25 inches long. According to the disgraced politician, Ravenel, both mother and baby are doing well.
Bravo fans are not entirely familiar with Mascoe since the couple blew cold shortly after their relationship ramped up. Mascoe is a registered nurse that Ravenel briefly dated. However, the duo both say that they are very good friends. They've also indicated that they are happy with where they are in their relationship. Evidently, according to the outlet, Ravenel from Southern Charm wanted to keep the pregnancy under wraps... and even told Mascoe to not leave the house during her last few months of pregnancy. The reality star mentioned that telling his two older children about their new brother was a bit difficult.
Since leaving drama-filled Southern Charm in disgrace, thanks to his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, Ravenel has revealed that the popular Bravo show had extended an olive branch. Showrunners invited him to rejoin the cast. The former South Carolina State Treasurer revealed to fans that he turned down the Southern Charm offer. Currently, the father-of-three is maintaining his relationship with Dennis and getting to know his adorable newborn.
