Heather Mascoe was former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel's fiancée and the mother of his nearly three-year-old son. The pair revealed they were an item in the summer of 2020 after Heather gave birth to their first child together. The news came as a shock, seeing as no one knew Thomas was in another relationship. His ex-girlfriend and mother of his first two children, former Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis, was surprised to hear Thomas had another girlfriend, let alone was expecting another child.

Viewers were initially introduced to the former politician during the first season of the famous Bravo series. Thomas was one of the first people in mind for the show, as Southern Charm was initially supposed to focus on the men of Charleston. However, the series creator, Whitney Sudler-Smith, took a different direction and decided to produce a show centered on Charleston's young professionals. After five seasons on the show, Thomas was fired for allegations of sexual assault and battery and has since moved on from his time on Southern Charm.

But who is Thomas' former fiancée? According to Us Weekly, Heather is a now 41-year-old registered nurse who works in Charleston, much like Thomas's ex-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs, who is now engaged to Mike Appel. Besides Thomas's interest in nurses, he also enjoys dating younger women. Heather is 19 years younger than him, similar to Ashley and Kathryn, who are more than 20 years younger than Thomas. Following the revival of their relationship, Heather and Thomas welcomed their son, Jonathan Jackson Ravenel, in July 2020. However, the baby boy wasn't the first for Heather or Thomas.

Heather Mascoe Has Two Children With Leo Chiagkouris

The nurse shares a son and a daughter with her former partner, Leo Chiagkouris. He disapproved of her relationship with the former reality star. Leo, a well-known restaurateur in Charleston, reportedly knew of Thomas, as he put up a banner above his restaurant with a list of Thomas' past legal issues in August 2019. As for Heather's involvement with Leo, the relationship ended in 2014 after Leo accused her of running up bills on his credit card. She was later arrested, but Leo dropped the charges against her, and the case was dismissed.

While it seemed Heather found love with Thomas, the pair split in August 2021. They agreed to co-parent Jackson in the wake of their breach of engagement. Given Thomas's track record, it's unsurprising that this relationship was another failure. Hopefully, Heather stays far away from the former Southern Charm star, and Southern Charm season 9 keeps the drama less dangerous than Thomas' wretched past.
