Fans are in for a treat with season 7 of Southern Charm as the cast tackles friendships ending, friends fighting for one girl, and Patricia Altschul scanning her Amazon deliveries for traces of COVID-19.

Season 6 of Southern Charm ended quite normally with no one knowing that there would be a huge shakeup in the cast. Fans will recall that Cameran Eubanks decided to leave the show after her marriage was called into question. Naomi Olindo and Chelsea Meissner followed quickly as they felt that there was only one person to blame for the rumor.  All three women accused Kathryn Dennis of starting the rumor and decided being cast on the show was not worth the publicity.

Now the show is welcoming back its fans by broadcasting some old and new faces. According to TwoBravoSisters, season 7 will be taking on white privilege, the controversial fate of confederate statues, and Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn drama, again. Watch the trailer below:

The cast is surrounded by Kathryn’s drama while she deals with her drinking and Thomas having another child. Fans will recall that Thomas revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend, Heather Mascoe, welcomed a baby boy on June 29. Fans will once again have to deal with the most unhealthy relationship there is thanks to Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy returning after he was caught in a threesome last season. Madison has not been easy on Austen and in the trailer calls him a "beta bi*ch." Craig Conover is over it but is still happily sewing his pillow to a small fortune. Shep Rose openly admits he is struggling with the pandemic as he speaks to Danni Baird from behind his closed door about a co-star who tested positive for the virus. The most outstanding of all is newcomer Leva Bonaparte, who is no shrinking violet and brings about conversations of white privilege and Kathryn’s ancestors being proud slave owners, telling Kathryn, "you've spent your entire life living in a bubble of white privilege."

Most of the drama does seem to focus on Kathryn, since she was the only interesting character left after the other girls departed the show. The veteran men also look to be at their wit's end with one another, leaving fans to wonder if they will be able to salvage their own friendships.
