Fans are watching Southern Charm stars Olivia Flowers and Austen Kroll’s romance play out in season 8, and she confirmed that the two are still going strong. Olivia joined the cast of Southern Charm season 8 as Austen’s love interest. Prior to her debut on the reality show, she was living in Los Angeles and working as a production assistant. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Olivia moved back home to Charleston and settled into her parents' house. Southern Charm fans witnessed Austen’s first meeting of Olivia’s parents when he picked her up for Kathryn Dennis’ birthday party.

Olivia and Austen’s first few dates started out rocky. It seemed as if Austen wasn’t over his ex-girlfriend, Madison LeCroy, which rankled Olivia. Just as they seemed to be getting closer, Austen told Olivia that he wanted to take things slow. When Olivia invited Madison to her parents’ seafood boil, Austen became annoyed when the two Southern Charm ladies seemed to bond. Many viewers wondered if Austen was ready to move on from Madison, but it appears that he and Olivia made it past the Southern Charm drama.

Despite all the drama at the beginning of their relationship, Olivia shared that it was fun watching the beginning stages of her and Austen’s relationship. She particularly liked the scene that showed how long it took him to send her a text. Although it seemed as if they were making steps toward a friendship, Olivia and Madison’s short-lived camaraderie took a hit when the two engaged in a mild social media war after the Southern Charm season 8 premiere.
