Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo took to her social media this week to thank her followers for the support she received amid her 29th birthday. The public was introduced to Naomie in 2016 when she began dating Craig Conover. The couple was together up until the Southern Charm season 4 reunion, but they were broken up by the time filming for season 5 began. Even though she and Craig were no longer together, they went on to work on the Bravo series together for two seasons.
The former reality star was back in the news last month after rumors began to circulate that she and her long-time boyfriend Metul Shah had called it quits on their relationship. Not only were there rumors of a split, but it was also reported that he had cheated on her with an ex-girlfriend. Naomie then took to her social media to confirm the news, but she never went into detail about the breakup.
On Wednesday, clothing brand owner Naomie Olindo shared a photo on Instagram featuring herself smiling on the deck of a boat for her 29th birthday. She also thanked her fans in the caption for all their love and support amid her breakup with Metul. "Hi 29 [waving hands emoji], the only thing I can think of today is how grateful I am for the people in my life… Especially with how much I've had to lean on them lately," Naomie captioned the photo. She then added, "Turns out the only two things that truly bring me genuine happiness are loving people and animals. So here's to another year of doing just that." Naomie's birthday message comes just days after she addressed her split from Metul on her Instagram Stories.
In the original Instagram Story about their breakup, Naomie wrote, "Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second. Betrayal is never easy for anyone and I'm just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages." Fans had been speculating for a few days about the couple's relationship status, as she was back in Charlestons despite the fac that the couple had recently moved to New York City for Metul's career. However, Naomie seems to be doing better as the days pass as she recently reposted a photo of a fan who was excited about their latest order of L’Abeye clothes, Naomie's clothing brand.
Now that Naomie is starting a new year in her life, she is also starting a new chapter of her life. While her breakup with Metul may be difficult, in the long run, she will be happy she didn't stay with someone that allegedly lies to her. Some fans even wonder if Naomi will rekindle her romance with Southern Charm star Craig.
