Naomie Olindo, a cast member on Southern Charm, is fighting back against her former business partner, accusing Virginia Cox of extortion and theft. Virginia sued Naomie for allegedly using dishonest means and breaking a contract they shared. This came about after the former departed from the L'Abeye fashion business they co-founded.

The Southern Charm star made it clear she will not give up easily. Naomie gave quite a different account in response to the frightening accusations. In a filing seen by Page Six, she responded to the "defamatory" fraud lawsuit brought against her by her former co-worker by making harsh counterclaims. “After being terminated for employee theft and other misconduct, Cox filed this defamatory lawsuit to extort money through a set of claims that are knowingly false,” the Bravo star alleged in the court documents.

In response to Virginia's claim, Naomie said that she had been misrepresented as Virginia had supposedly been the one acting inappropriately at work. She also asserted that the fired worker had been dismissed as a result of repeated instances of alleged theft. One of the most outrageous theft cases involved Virginia allegedly hacking into her computer to access her American Express account, which was connected to both personal and business finances. She also added that Virginia allegedly used points from the credit card to take a trip to Florida with her boyfriend. Additionally, Naomie said she had a surveillance camera set up to keep an eye on Virginia as she once allegedly stole goods from the clothing firm to sell them for a profit. In addition to the theft charges, 30-year-old Naomie said that Virginia's work ethic had been unstable ever since the company started operating in 2018 but had drastically declined in the months before she was fired. According to the documents, Naomie said that during the initial "critical" months of the business, her former co-worker would allegedly "sometimes not show up to work until noon or early afternoon," typically "as a result of going out and drinking the night before."

Virginia, in her claim, said that Naomie approached her with an invitation to become a co-owner with a 50% stake in the company in 2018. She asserted that the reality star never kept to their agreement as she allegedly employed specific strategies to maintain control of the company, steal money, and prevent her from obtaining new employment. From the Southern Charm star's claims, Virginia appears to be a worker who was upset about being fired. Hence, she allegedly began to go out of control and sent harassing messages to Naomie and another worker.

Because of the accusations Virginia made against her, Naomie is requesting a jury trial and damages. She has six counterclaims in her lawsuit. On the other hand, Virginia brought 14 claims against the Southern Charm star, including defamation, fraud, partnership dissolution, and violation of a contract.
