Southern Charm's Naomi Olindo is single once again after her boyfriend, Metul Shah, allegedly cheated on her. The cheating scandal occurred shortly after she moved to New York City for him and left her life in South Carolina behind. Naomi has been quiet except for a tear-jerking post on social media.
Naomi was first introduced to Southern Charm fans when she joined the show for season 3 as a "friend" of the cast. Viewers loved her intelligence and positive approach to life. She later got promoted to a full-time role for season 5. Naomi first started on the show as the girlfriend of Craig Conover, but when his sewing and Martha Stewart ways became too much, tensions started to run high. They dated for three years, and their breakup became a storyline for Naomi’s last season. After her breakup, she met Metul, who seemed to be the perfect match.
Sadly, news broke that the has split up after two years of dating. Naomi had only moved to New York City two months ago to make a life with the anesthesiologist. The reality TV star took to her Instagram Story to share the heartbreaking news, writing, “Nothing will be worse than losing my dad, but this is a close second. Betrayal is never easy for anyone, and I’m just so sorry to anyone else who has stumbled across those terrible messages.”
The 28-year-old is currently back in Charleston so she can heal. Both Metul and Naomi often shared updates on their Instagram and became official back in 2018. Metul recently posted on his social media that he was given a fellowship with Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. The French expat left Southern Charm after season 6 because she wanted to make her relationship a priority. Just before their big move, they went on a yachting vacation to Antigua and Barbuda with some friends.
Back in July, Naomi sparked speculation that the couple may had hit a rough patch after she deleted almost all of her Instagram photos with Metul in them. The photos that were left were ones that were taken with their group of friends or with family. Southern Charm fans were saddened to hear about the breakup but selfishly hope that Naomi will decide to come back to the popular Bravo show. There has been no news on when the new season will start filming.
