Southern Charm season 7 looks like it will be a good one. The main drama still surrounds Kathryn as she deals with drinking again, her baby daddy Thomas Ravenel getting another woman pregnant, and her white privilege and slave-owning ancestors. Austen and Madison are once again returning, and fans will see another rough breakup. Craig is building his pillow empire thanks to HSN, while Shep is struggling to live in isolation thanks to the worldwide pandemic. Fan are curious about the two newbies and want to know a bit more about their backgrounds. People shared facts about the new cast members via an exclusive.

Leva Bonaparte from Southern Charm

Leva Bonaparte will be a breath of fresh air as she tries to right the world (and small-town Charleston) one Confederate statue at a time. Leva has an exciting cultural background as she is Persian. She was born in India but spent her younger years in Canada and Bolivia, so she is a seasoned world traveler. The young reality star is relatively new to the Charleston circuit but she has been visiting the city for the past 18 years due to her family’s business expansions.  Leva is married to her husband Lamar, who is a Charleston native. The couple has a two-year-old son. Leva and Lamar are known in the hospitality scene since they own a few companies that do business with nightclubs. In the trailer for Southern Charm season 7, Leva is ready to make great changes in Charleston and the new Southern Charm star is happy to advocate for the “new south.” She is ready and willing to hold the uncomfortable conversations, especially with Kathryn, as she candidly tells her co-star she lived in a bubble of white privilege.

John Pringle is the newest gent on the Southern Charm scene and as far as we can tell, he is single. John is a seventh-generation Charleston native. He went to the University of Georgia where (of course!), he met Shep. The two became great friends and fans will be able to watch their friendship in the upcoming season. John ventured away from the small Southern town and lived in New York City, where he learned the family business. The reality star also enjoys songwriting and has released his own EP. John has two sons, Quinn and Asher, and an ex-wife.

The two rookies look as if they will make a great addition to the Southern Charm cast. John can be seen vying for Madison's attention in the trailer, even though Austen is none the wiser. It is also safe to assume that Leva and Kathryn will have some rocky roads to maneuver since Kathryn has never been a fan of being called out on any of her bad behavior.
