Madison LeCroy from Southern Charm revealed she and her boyfriend Brett are engaged. Before Brett, Madison had several different guys lining up to date her. One of her most well-known relationships was her romance with her fellow Southern Charm costar Austen Kroll. The former couple dated on and off for almost three years before officially calling it quits last summer. Madison was over Austen's lack of maturity, ambition, and carelessness towards the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shortly after Madison and Austen broke up, Austen began hanging out with fellow reality star Kristin Cavallari. Madison, of course, caught wind of the rumored romance and began a relationship of her own with Kristin's ex-husband Jay Cutler. The two began dating around December 2020 but broke it off in January after Jay and Kristin shared an Instagram post directed at Madison. Besides her relationship with Jay, Madison was also called out during the season 7 reunion for having an affair with Alex Rodriguez, who was engaged to Jennifer Lopez at the time.
On Thursday, during her highly-anticipated Amazon Live, Madison revealed she and Brett, her boyfriend of less than a year, are engaged. "I am engaged! And I’m so excited because I honestly had no clue at the time," the 30-year-old exclusively said during her Amazon Live. Madison confessed the engagement was a "very special moment" for her family and said it took place when she least expected it. She also talked about how Brett included her son Hudson in the engagement. "We’ve been crying for the last week because we’ve been overwhelmed with the excitement," she said. When Brett popped the question, the hairstylist did not hesitate and immediately said yes. Before he proposed, her now-fiancé did ask her eight-year-old son for permission. He approved, as long as he could be part of the proposal.
Since the couple began dating six months ago, Madison has kept their relationship under wraps, not even revealing Brett's name until recently. However, Madison hasn't been shy about sharing photos and videos, especially from the night he popped the question. Last Friday, Madison shared a photo of herself, Brett, and her son on Instagram. In the photo, Madison wore the champagne-colored dress Brett bought for her. Later on in the day, the reality star posted a few videos to her Instagram Stories of the three of them in a limo, drinking champagne and celebrating. In the video, she did say the two boys were up to something but never confirmed what it was. Madison confirmed her relationship with Brett in June by sharing multiple snaps of the pair in Lake Tahoe.
Now that the secret is out, Madison will be showing off her new fiancé a lot more on social media and hopefully on the upcoming season of Southern Charm. Fans can't help but wonder, however, what does Austen have to say about the whirlwind engagement?
