Kristin Cavallari took to her social media to clear up the dating rumors involving Craig Conover and Austen Kroll from Southern Charm. Rumors first began to swirl about her and Austen last November after Kristin and her hairstylist, Justin Anderson, visited the boys in Charleston. Austen was coming off the heels of a breakup with his on and off girlfriend, Madison LeCroy, who later had a whirlwind romance with Kristin's ex-husband Jay Cutler.
However, Madison and Jay's relationship didn't work out after Kristin and her ex shared a photo on Instagram showing a united front. Madison was taken aback by the post and quickly cut things off with the former football player. After rumors between Kristin and Austen began to die down, a new rumor involving her and Craig began to circulate. The internet was starting to believe the friends were involved in a love triangle with Summer House cast member Paige DeSorbo.
The reality star took to her Instagram Stories Wednesday night to clear up any rumors involving her and some of the boys of Southern Charm. Kristin's followers believe she's the woman being fought over by Craig and Austen, who are going out of their way to impress her. The former Laguna Beach star denied there was any drama to unpack. "I haven't been involved in a love triangle since I was in high school," she began her rant on her Stories. The rumor has followed her for nearly a year, even though she "hasn't dated anybody in a few months." With naming anyone, she said, "These two guys who I have been linked to for the past year are my friends [...] I can guarantee that I'm not going to date either one of them."
Fans speculated why she would be spending some much time with two single men, but Kristin defended herself, stating, "It's possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man and for that to be it." She added that she has been enjoying the single life and is really happy not being in a relationship at the moment. Kristin, who visited Austen in Charleston, then reminded her followers to not always take rumors at face value as they are usually spread for "entertainment" purposes. She even compared gossip to a "massive game of telephone." There might be some truth to the rumors, "the details are messy." The love triangle rumor stemmed from Craig and Austen themselves after Austen let it slip that Kristin slid into the lawyer's DMs. However, Justin Anderson denied the gossip, revealing he was the one to introduce her to the guys since he is a fan of the show.
Kristin finally had enough of the love triangle rumors with Austen and Craig from Southern Charm. After almost a year since the gossip began, she felt it was time to finally put the rumors to rest. While it is unclear what Austen's relationship status is, it seems Craig may have possibly found love with Paige from Summer House. As for Kristin, she is currently enjoying her days as a single woman.
