Sophie Stonehouse was one of three contestants eliminated by Lana on Too Hot To Handle season 4, but while Sophie's exit was somewhat justified, she undoubtedly would've gone farther without Creed McKinnon's blatant betrayal. Sophie was one of the original arrivals who fell for Mario Lopez's made-up program "Wild Love," when Too Hot To Handle season 4 kicked off on December 7, although the English 22-year-old took Lana's reveal in stride. Once the Too Hot To Handle cast officially settled in and began to establish connections, Sophie gravitated towards Creed. Although Creed, and most of the other men, immediately set their sights on Kayla Richart.

Although Dutch model Jawahir Khalifa and Nick Kici, as well as Kayla and racecar driver Sebastian "Seb" Melrose, dominated the popular Netflix series, Sophie stood out on Too Hot To Handle season 4 in her own way. Like fan favorite James Pendergrass, Sophie took Lana's retreat seriously and actively refrained from breaking the rules. In addition, Sophie took her budding romance with Creed seriously and impressed Too Hot To Handle fans with her ability to resist temptation, such as when she rejected a kiss from newcomer Ethan Smith. Despite her favorable personality, Sophie's journey on Too Hot To Handle season 4 came to an abrupt end when Lana sent her and Ethan home. While Ethan's exit wasn't a shock, Sophie's wasn't as deserved.

Creed Blindsided Sophie On Too Hot To Handle Season 4

Sophie was dedicated to her connection with Creed and made her loyalty clear, which is why it was difficult to watch Creed turn his back on Sophie when Flavia Laos Urbina joined the Too Hot To Handle season 4 cast. Flavia, who originally sought after Kayla's beau Seb, quickly enticed Creed with her physical assets. Despite Creed's emotional interest in Sophie, the self-described "bad boy" sided with his eyes instead of his heart, and before Sophie knew it, she was sidelined. Understandably, Sophie couldn't hide how upset she was at Creed's actions after she ignored Ethan's advances, and it didn't take long for her to tearfully contemplate throwing in the towel completely.

Sophie Couldn't Bounce Back On Too Hot To Handle Season 4

Although the premise of Too Hot To Handle is to try and form emotional connections despite whatever hurdles present themselves, Sophie immediately closed herself off after Creed abandoned their new relationship for Flavia. While Ethan later captured Hawaii-born Brittan Byrd's interest after his attempt with Sophie fell flat, Sophie was uninterested in keeping her options open to anyone despite the hefty grand prize in sight. Sophie's apathy towards the competition ended up being the final nail in her Too Hot To Handle season 4 coffin, but if Creed went about his newfound attraction to Flavia differently, Sophie's time throughout Too Hot To Handle would've turned out a lot differently.

Sophie may have been treated wrongly, but karma did come back around to Creed by the end of Too Hot To Handle season 4. Despite everything being captured on camera, Creed couldn't help but simultaneously lie and lead Flavia and Imogen Ewan on after Sophie's exit, which eventually got him eliminated by Lana as well. Jawahir and Nick were ultimately declared the winners and walked away with Too Hot To Handle's reduced $89,000 jackpot, and although Sophie didn't deserve the treatment she received from Creed on the show, the plus side is that she did manage to dodge a bullet. If Netflix ever decides to recast former Too Hot To Handle stars, Sophie should be at the top of the list.
