2Probably one of the more indisputable facts about Tara and Jax's relationship on FX's Sons of Anarchy is that the two couldn't have been more opposite for one another. Of course, sometimes opposites do attract but in their case, the love they shared had more to do with Tara being attracted to bad boys rather than actual true love.

While Jax was infatuated by the love they shared as high school sweethearts, because she reminded him of a time before he was so caught up in a gang, he so desperately sought to free himself from. With all that said, it should be noted there were plenty more compatible fish in the sea for Jax Teller than Tara.

Margaret Murphy

This one might be a little bit of a stretch but hey, sometimes love finds a way. Plus, it isn't like Margaret Murphy didn't already have a reputation as someone who had been in a relationship with someone from a biker gang. A few things that might attract Jax to Margaret is that she is strong-willed and unafraid to speak her mind. She is brave and willing to do what is right even at great cost to herself. She also is accomplished in her profession, giving Jax the flexibility to continue his gunrunning even if gang warfare is slow.

June Stahl

June Stahl in Sons Of Anarchy

If Agent Stahl hadn't of been so infatuated with bringing down SAMCRO for her own personal gain, she might could have found her soulmate in Jax. When they first met, Jax's relationship with Tara was still rather fresh, if the two would have hit it off, they might would have become one of the show's more unlikely couples. Like Jax, Stahl was ambitious and unafraid to do whatever it took to achieve her goals in life. She also wasn't afraid to murder and could have helped Jax with inside information against the club.

Lyla Winston

Lyla was someone that Jax had known for some time and felt very comfortable around. He was always on friendly terms with her, something that can't be said for most characters on the show. Lyla's love and affection towards her husband Opie could have been what bonded Jax with her after Opie's unfortunate murder.

She had proven her loyalty to the club on more than a few occasions and was also great with children as seen when she adopted Opie's children after their father's death. So, she could have been a great mom for his children.

Carla Padilla

Carla was Nero Padilla's half-sister and his main assistant for his escort service in Charming. She might not have been the most stable individual on the series but she had helped Nero get clean and break away from his gang ties, while also helping him run a legit business. So, who is to say she couldn't have done the same for Jax. She also was fine with the less than lawful lifestyle, something that Tara struggled with mightily. Beginning a relationship with Jax would have been a good way for Carla to get back at Gemma for taking Nero.

Cherry

After leaving her abusive husband and burning down the condo they shared, Cherry had taken up shop with the Devils Tribe in hopes someone would eventually claim her as an old lady. Upon meeting Half Sack, she thought she had found her one true love and someone who could bring her into the Sons of Anarchy lifestyle. Unfortunately, Half Sack was murdered leaving her single. Her kind behavior along with her willingness to be a part of SAMCRO along with her familiarity with the club would make her a perfect candidate to replace Tara.

Wendy Case

Wendy Case has a piece of Jax's heart whether he knows it or not. At the beginning of the series, she was his junkie girlfriend and mother to his son Abel. It is never stated what their relationship was when she was clean or if she always had problems with drugs while she was with Jax.

Her drug abuse soured their relationship but after Tara was murdered and Jax needed someone to lean on, Wendy was there for him. Most importantly, she was clean and proved to be a reliable girlfriend for Jax.

Candy Eglee

Candy Eglee was a former classmate to Jax Teller and seemed to have a somewhat close relationship with him even though he was a biker outlaw and she was a cop working for the San Joaquin County Police Department. Even though it was her job to help prosecute SAMCRO and others like them, on a few occasions she would give them tips when someone in SAMCRO had a warrant out for their arrest, allowing them the proper time to escape. A relationship with her would result in a get out of jail card.

Collette Jane

Even after professing his love for Tara, Jax wasn't beyond his old philandering ways. On a few occasions, Jax used his dashing good looks to garner certain favors from the women his club was working with. One of those occasions was when Colette Jane who was an owner of an escort agency seeking the help of Nero to go legit. Jax was currently on the outs with Tara and used Collette Jane as a way of hurting her after she caught the two having sex. Sadly, their time together was brief as she was killed a few episodes later.

Althea Jarry

Althea Jarry in Sons Of Anarchy

Jarry was another woman on the right side of the law that made a love affair something of forbidden pleasure or sin depending on which side of the law they were on. She was a serious but down to earth cop, who truly wanted to do the right thing.

Sadly, she also had a deep fascination with Chibs, resulting in the two hooking up on more than a few occasions. So, since she was so interested in Chibs it wouldn't be that crazy for Jax to have found companionship with her as well.

Emma Jean

Emma Jean was a high-class escort working for Nero Padilla who found herself on the run from Nero's former gang after she was responsible for a raid on his girls. Jax was a SAMCRO member looking for a way out of his outlaw ways but because of his ties to the club, leaving without retaliation was impossible. The two could have been company for one another on the road to freedom. While Emma might not have been the ideal girl for Jax, she was searching for a fresh start, a fresh start he badly needed himself.
