After Clayton Echard announced his breakup with Susie Evans, some fans of The Bachelor think he may rekindle with Rachel Recchia. While Rachel had an emotional and stressful journey, she ultimately got engaged to Tino Franco at the end of the season. During After The Final Rose, however, it was revealed that Rachel broke off her engagement with Tino after he kissed another girl. Several days later, Clayton and Susie announced their breakup in a joint statement online.
After Rachel and Clayton were both revealed to be newly single merely days apart, some fans speculated that the two may give their relationship another shot. It was clear on Clayton's season that he and Rachel had an exceptionally strong connection, which resulted in Rachel being heartbroken when she was eliminated. Some fans felt that Rachel never truly got over Clayton, as during her season she even said that none of her men made her feel as wanted as Clayton did on his season.
It would also make sense for Rachel and Clayton to reunite as they both went through similar experiences as leads. Clayton received a lot of criticism during his time on The Bachelor, as fans originally felt that he was too boring to be the lead. They later became even more outraged when he told all three of his final women that he was in love with them. Rachel also received a fair amount of criticism from fans, as they felt she was too emotional. Fans also called Rachel out for being so set on an engagement, which resulted in her relationship with Aven Jones not working out.
If Rachel and Clayton were to reunite, it would not be the first time that something like that has happened in Bachelor Nation.
