Although Ashley and Dimitri Snowden are one of the most recognized duos from Seeking Sister Wife, the controversial couple won't be appearing in season 4 after their relationship took a massive hit in 2021. Viewers were first introduced to Ashley and Dimitri during the inaugural season of Seeking Sister Wife in 2018, and the show's popularity saw them returning for seasons 2 and 3. Instead of legally exchanging vows, Ashley and Dimitri entered into a "spiritual union" in 2011. After several years together and becoming parents of three children, the Snowdens agreed to open their relationship and sought out several potential sister-wives to join the family.

While fans of Seeking Sister Wife watched as Dimitri officially married Vanessa Cobbs during season 2, Vanessa filed for divorce just months later. Dimitri and Ashley's next sister wife was Christeline Petersen, who became Dimitri's next wife during season 3. At the time, Dimitri, Ashley, and Christeline also got to know a fourth woman, Tayler Middleton. However, By the time season 3 ended, Dimitri and Ashley found themselves in the middle of Seeking Sister Wife's biggest scandal to date. In early 2021, Christeline filed a restraining order against Dimitri and accused him of domestic violence. Christeline was also granted a restraining order against Ashley for alleged verbal abuse.

Dimitri and Ashley Snowden on Seeking Sister Wife

Since her breakup with Dimitri last summer, Ashley has purged her Instagram of all pictures of her ex, including ones of their three children. Since her last appearance on Seeking Sister Wife season 3, Ashley has only briefly mentioned her reality television past in lengthy Instagram captions. One of Ashley's most recent Instagram update on May 23 does briefly reference her past with Dimitri, sharing, "My life is far from perfect. It’s actually the opposite of where I think *I want* to be at times, but what keeps me focused and grounded is knowing I’m where God wants me to be."

Although Ashley and Dimitri have no plans to rekindle their romance, Seeking Sister Wife season 4 will feature three new families: Brenda & Steve Foley, April, Jennifer, and Nick Davis, and India, Taryn, and Marcus Epps. In addition, two returning couples will continue to document their polygamous journeys: Tosha and Sidian Jones, and Danielle, Garrick, and Roberta Merrifield. With a mix of new and returning sister wives ready to showcase their lives on TLC, viewers still have a lot to look forward to without the series' former breakout stars.
