Disneyland is in the process of remodeling its Snow White dark ride, one of the oldest rides in the park. The ride was previously known as Snow White’s Scary Adventure but has been renamed Snow White’s Enchanted Wish. This refurbished ride is just one of several new additions to the Disneyland park.

The official Disney Parks YouTube channel posted a video giving a behind-the-scenes look at the Snow White ride remodel. The video mentions that though the ride is one of the oldest in Disneyland, it was last renovated in the 1980s. This 2020 remodel features a few significant additions to the dark ride. A new dancing Snow White figure has been added to one of the earlier scenes, and the Dwarves’ mine has been redone with fake glowing gemstones in bright colors. Beyond the big changes, the park is also doing cosmetic repair to the paint and bricks on the ride's exterior. Of course, the new name of the ride necessitated a shiny new sign at the building’s entrance.

It makes sense for Disneyland to be remodeling some of their older rides right now since the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has caused the park to close down for most of this year. While the pandemic and Disney’s response to it has negatively impacted former Disneyland employees, Disney Parks engineers are at least taking advantage of the empty park to build new attractions and refurbish old ones. When it is finally safe for Disneyland to open again, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish will be just one of many attractions guests are excited to ride.
