When starting Sniper Elite 5, there are several tasks and missions players must complete first before exfiltrating the level. Some tasks are mandatory, while other tasks are optional. Sometimes players do not have an opportunity to alter the task order during missions, and the beginning of the first level is one of those occasions. When players enter the first mission, The Atlantic Wall, they will be forced to initiate the level on a submarine. Once players progress through the level, they can unlock more entry points.
When players begin the first mission, they will find themselves on the submarine. The first few tasks in the level are linear, requiring players to progress through them to proceed. This linear aspect forces players to go through a tutorial, where they will learn the skills needed to do things like complete all 8 kill challenges in Sniper Elite 5. For example, the first tasks involve players sniping searchlights and clearing the beach of enemies. This leads players onto the next set of tutorials in Sniper Elite 5.
After clearing the beach of enemies, players will need to make their way through pathways to kill enemies covertly. Eventually, players will reach an enemy who has a boathouse key that can open a nearby building. After leaving the boathouse, players will be tasked with searching the processing plant. Players should keep progressing through the area and eliminating enemies however they prefer. Once players reach the refinery, they will rescue a member of the Resistance and be tasked with inspecting nearby equipment. This is where players will encounter their first workbench, which can be used to unlock upgrades in Sniper Elite 5 in Sniper Elite 5.

Once players leave the refinery, they must follow a linear path through a cave, ultimately leading to a viewpoint of the enemy radar. When players reach the viewpoint, they can finally move freely and accomplish tasks in any order. Although players can tackle these tasks in any order they choose, it is a good idea to start with disarming the radar since it is directly ahead. They can accomplish this by destroying the supports of the radar or overheating the generator below.
Once players destroy the generator, only a handful of tasks are left to complete. In order to complete the level, players must obtain information about the Resistance, kill Steffen Beckendorf, and meet with Charlie to complete the level. This is the best order in which players can complete the main tasks. However, if players want to rank up fast in Sniper Elite 5, it’s always an excellent tactic to finish side missions along the paths of the main mission objectives.
