Those having buyer's remorse after subscribing to Snapchat+ can easily cancel their subscription on Android and iPhone. Snapchat+ was launched in late June as a premium subscription option for Snapchat users, and offers several new features over the free version. It costs $3.99 per month and is only available in a handful of countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The company says it plans to expand the service to more markets in the future but is yet to offer a definitive timeline for the expansion.

At launch, Snap announced that Snapchat+ will offer "exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features" to subscribers. The company also said that the new tier is aimed at "passionate" Snapchat users and will come with prioritized support. Some of the notable Snapchat+ features at launch include the ability to change the app icon, see who rewatched a story, pin a friend to the top of their chat history as a 'BFF,' Friend Solar Systems, and more. Another notable new Snapchat+ feature is Ghost Trails, which enables users to check their friends' location history on a map for the past 24 hours.

The steps to cancel a Snapchat+ subscription differ on Android and iOS. On Android, users will have to use the Google Play Store app instead of Snapchat to cancel their subscription. To do this, open Google Play and tap on the profile icon at the top-right corner. Now select 'Payments & subscriptions' and go to 'Subscriptions.' Tap on 'Cancel subscription' and select Snapchat+ from the list of subscribed apps and services. Now select a reason for the cancellation from the given options and hit 'Continue' at the bottom. Finally, confirm by tapping on the green 'Cancel subscription' button to finalize the cancellation.

To cancel a Snapchat+ subscription on iOS, open the Settings app on iPhone and tap on the profile name at the top. Then hit 'Subscriptions' on the next page and select Snapchat+ from the list. Now tap on 'Cancel Subscription.' Do note that users might need to scroll down a bit to find the Cancel Subscription option. If there's no Cancel button or there's an expiration message in red text, the subscription has already been canceled.

Snapchat+ is a new service that promises to offer innovative new features for paying subscribers. However, if the list of features seems a little light and not quite deserving of the $3.99 monthly payment, users can easily end their subscription with a few easy steps. Since the payment is processed by Google or Apple (depending on the platform), the steps to cancel a Snapchat+ subscription are identical to cancelling pretty much any other app subscription on the two platforms.
