Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum reunite for Talkville, a Smallville rewatch podcast. Smallville ran for ten seasons on The WB and CW, kicking off in 2001. The series told the story of a young Clark Kent, working to harness his powers and find his place in the world before he donned the cape as Superman. Welling portrayed Kent through all 217 episodes of the Smallville, with Rosenbaum playing Superman's greatest foe, Lex Luthor, as a series regular through season 7. They were joined by a cast that included Kristin Kreuk, John Glover, Erica Durance, John Schneider, and Annette O'Toole.

As reported by Comicbook, Welling and Rosenbaum are set to debut Talkville on July 13. The podcast will see them rewatching the entirety of Smallville from the beginning before talking about each episode and providing anecdotes and behind-the-scenes details.

Rewatch podcasts featuring the stars of a show have been successful in the past. Office Ladies, with Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, even recently led to a book by the two actors. Additionally, Rosenbaum has already found success in podcasting, with his series Inside of You offering candid conversations with notable celebrities. This experience should be a big help. Welling and Rosenbaum's new podcast is not the only Smallville project in the works, as an animated series has also been teased by the actors. Smallville viewers look to have plenty of content on the way, and audiences can dive back into the series with Welling and Rosenbaum when Talkville's first episode drops in July.
