A beautiful mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gives players a new sprawling manor for their Dragonborn to reside in, and it's about as close to an in-game locale from House of the Dragon as players can get. Over the years there have been numerous mods created by players for others to use, with everything from new weapons to graphics improvement mods, as well as just about anything else one could imagine. Many involve Skyrim's house-buying mechanics, offering players new properties to call their own.

A new creation uploaded to Nexus Mods by TechAngel85 showcases a brand-new manor, entitled Dragon Cliff Manor Special Edition. The mod is a continuation of a creation designed by SpartanC17, who showcases the original mod on their YouTube channel Spartanic17. While TechAngel85 initially intended to fix the mod, which is necessary for some older Skyrim mods which break when a new edition is released, they state in its description that the project quickly expanded into a full overhaul in order to restore the manor to its full potential. The Dragon Cliff Manor is located near the Throat of the World, Skyrim's tallest mountain, and features an open, sprawling layout quite reminiscent of the imposing vistas from the recent Game of Thrones spinoff show, House of the Dragon. Fans of the show will likely enjoy the opportunity to live their Targaryen dreams in this grand locale.

Skyrim Mods Like This Manor Add Welcome Immersion & Features

The Skyrim mod has an incredible laundry list of useful features outside its appearance. The manor contains a slew of crafting stations, barracks to keep player companions (or to keep Skyrim's most annoying NPC followers out of the way), a greenhouse for crop planting, stables for horses and cows, and even teleportation orbs and ladders to aid in navigating the giant space. Players can also take advantage of an auto-sorting system, where they can simply place their belongings in a chest by the door and have them automatically placed in a thematically correct spot throughout the manor. Many of the mod's features also add to the House of the Dragon-esque feeling of luxury, like an ample amount of bedrooms, including a master bedroom complete with pool and balcony, and a kitchen with a resident chef NPC.

Although Skyrim can certainly be played without mods, over a decade after its release, it's hard to imagine still playing the original version of the game without any enhancements. While some players simply want to find the weirdest mods for Skyrim that they can, others like to use them to improve the game's graphics and UI, make mechanics smoother, and add interesting new locations like this manor. Many players like to immerse themselves in the game as much as possible, and new House of the Dragon-style homes like this, that feel like they capture the grandeur of being the legendary Dragonborn, are perfect for the task.

Mods don't just help immersion, either; they can also help keep fans in the game without getting bored by adding new and engaging features for them to explore. The game originally released in 2011, and since then Skyrim's Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn expansions have released. Even with those additions, though, it can be hard for players to find entertaining activities to do in-game after all this time. This beautifully detailed manor mod is perfect for letting players continue to have fun, whether they're looking to live out their House of the Dragon dreams or simply want a new home to decorate in Skyrim.
