In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, players may want to find the 24 Stones of Barenziah in the game to unlock a perk that increases their odds of finding gemstones. When players find one of the 24 stones, it will begin the quest No Stone Unturned. Individually, the stones are worth 200 gold, but they can be sold for much more as a set. In addition, once players have found a Barenziah Stone, they can get it appraised by Vex at the Ragged Flagon in Riften.

Of note, the Barenziah Stones in Skyrim do not have to be obtained in any particular order. Of the two Barenziah Stones in Solitude, one can be found in the Blue Palace on the shelf in Jarl Elisif, the Fair's home. The second stone is in the master bedroom of the Proudspire Manor, which players can purchase for 25,000 after they complete "The Man Who Cried Wolf" quest. Near Solitude, players will find a stone on a small table in the Captain's Quarters of the Dainty Sload.

The single stone in the College of Winterhold is on a shelf in the Arch-Mage's home. If players investigate Yngvild, they will find a stone in the Throne Room just behind the throne. In the Necromancer's Sleeping Area in Hob's Fall Cave, players will find another stone. An additional three Barenziah Stones can be found in Skyrim's Whiterun. The three stones in Whiterun are located in Kodlak Whitemane's bedroom, in the Hall of the Dead in a crypt at the foot of a skeleton, and in Jarl's bedroom in Dragonsreach.

Every Barenziah Stone Location in Skyrim

Ignore the Skyrim side quest, No Stone Unturned. Barenziah Stones aren't worth it.

Furthermore, the two stones hidden in Markarth are on a small table next to the bed in the master bedroom in the Treasury House and on a table in a locked side room of the Dwemer Museum in the Understone Keep. From there, players will find a stone on an alter at Dead Crone Rock. Finally, Rannveig's Fast is home to another stone on a table, and a stone can be found in Fellglow Keep on a counter in the workroom near the front foyer.

In Skyrim's Windhelm has two Barenziah Stones, one in a bedroom of the Shatter-Shield home and another in the Palace of Kings in Wuunferth the Unliving's home on a table. Additionally, in the Bandit Wizard's cavern, players will find a stone inside Stony Creek Cave. If players search the burial chambers of Ansilvund, they will find a stone near Fjori's ghost. Additionally, within Sunderstone Gorge, a stone can be found in front of the Word Wall on the alter. Finally, there is a locked treasure room in the Pinewatch Bandit Sanctuary where players will find a stone.

As players search for stones, they will find two in Riften. One of them is in the Jarl's Chambers in Mistveil Keep on the bedside table, while the other is in the master bedroom upstairs in Black-Briar Lodge. Additionally, within Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, players will find a stone on the dresser in Astrid's room.

Once players have found all 24 Barenziah Stones, they should return them to Vex at the Ragged Flagon. Players will then be tasked with finding and returning the crown to her. Once her crown is returned, the "No Stone Unturned" quest will be completed, and players will be rewarded with the perk Prowler's Profit, which notably increases the chances of finding gemstones while exploring dungeons. Additionally, the crown decorated with the recovered stones is in the guild behind Mercer's desk once players have completed the quest.
